Like preventative maintenance on your yard to reduce your risk of fire damage. Here are some basic things you can do to help prevent your risk of fire damage to your home.

1. Get rid of combustible materials within 30 feet of your home. This could be fire-prone vegetation, firewood stacks, combustible patio furniture, umbrellas, etc.
2. Trim tree branches that overhang the roof and chimney.
3. Remove combustible litter on roof and gutters.
